While being shown around the facilities, Aesthetics journalists learned that this partnership is designed to address key needs in the aesthetic field, including access to insurance, comprehensive training in menopause and expert compounding services, the companies explain.

Miriam Martinez Callejas, superintendent pharmacist and co-founder of Roseway Labs, explained how the pharmacy distinguishes itself from others by taking a holistic approach. “We collaborate with prescribers and focus on meeting patients’ individual needs, offering treatments that range from licensed medication to personalised, compounded solutions. At Roseway Labs, we believe that education and collaboration are key in transforming healthcare for women. Our partnership with Cosmetic Courses is supporting practitioners in both the aesthetics and medical fields to better support and improve the quality of life for women navigating menopause,” she states.

According to Roseway Labs, it maintains a robust quality management system that ensures safety and traceability throughout the compounding process. Each prescription undergoes a thorough review by a pharmacist, followed by meticulous formulation and final checks before dispatch. “Every step, from prescription approval to formulation and final dispatch, is meticulously recorded,” says Callejas, underscoring the pharmacy’s dedication to patient safety.

The pharmacy specialises in women’s health, men’s health, dermatology, thyroid medication, low-dose naltrexone, longevity and wellness, nutritional support and treatments for hair loss. To further enhance its offerings, Roseway Labs has partnered with Cosmetic Courses to provide essential training for healthcare prescribers in menopause.

This collaboration ensures practitioners receive comprehensive guidance on best practices and insurance coverage, allowing them to manage complex patient needs effectively. Jim Savin, managing director at Cosmetic Courses, emphasised the importance of such collaborations for the specialty. Saban shared, “Our partnership with Roseway Labs is about ensuring that practitioners have a solid foundation. We provide comprehensive training, aligned with NICE guidelines, on managing hormone therapy and other aesthetic treatments.” Saban further noted, “Our collaboration extends beyond basic education – we move into more complex cases, helping practitioners manage challenging patient scenarios and medication requirements.”

According to the company, the collaboration aims to provide healthcare professionals – including nurses, doctors, dentists and pharmacists – access to specialised training and compounding services. As well as the tools necessary to provide safe, personalised treatments in field of medical aesthetics.
