Educational event Menopause in Aesthetics (MIA) 2025 was held in the Grand Connaught Rooms in London on February 7.
The event featured various discussions surrounding menopause, such as recognising the signs and engaging patients in meaningful conversations. Speakers also discussed optimising hormones for healthy ageing, highlighting lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise and sleep in holistic menopause management.
Speakers included nurse prescriber Julie Scott, general practitioner Dr Ginni Mansberg and aesthetic practitioners Dr Shirin Lakhani and Dr Mayoni Gooneratne.
Following the event, MIA rebranded to Menopause in Practice (MIP). Charlotte Body, founder of MIP, commented, “While medical aesthetics remains a core focus for us, we understand that not everyone identifies under this specific field. This name change reflects dedication to advancing women’s health during menopause. We look forward to seeing you at Menopause in Practice 2026 as we continue to grow and support this incredible community together.”
