The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) has publicised the appointment of Ms Eilis Fitzgerald as Honorary BAAPS council representative for Ireland.
With a primary medical degree at university college Dublin, Fitzgerald worked as a specialist registrar in adult and paediatric plastic surgery units in Dublin and Cork.
Fitzgerald works at the Beacon Hospital in Dublin in cosmetic breast surgery, surgical and non-surgical facial aesthetics, the surgical management of benign and malignant skin lesions, as well as the surgical management of certain hand conditions.
Fitzgerald, consultant plastic surgeon, commented, “I am honoured to have been appointed as the Honorary BAAPS council representative for Ireland. My aims as representative are to promote membership of BAAPS to my Irish colleagues, and to continue to collaborate with my colleagues in the UK on the myriads of commonalities that impact aesthetic surgery practice across the jurisdictions.”
