Swiss skincare range Cellcosmet has announced the launch of a new range of body care products.
According to the company, the new range incorporates cellular and biotechnological technology into the new CellBust-XT Hand Cream and Cellular Body Gel-Cream. This technology includes CytoPep Cellular Extracts (collagen, fribonectin, actin and keratin), which is designed to boost skin elasticity and barrier function. The products also contain the moisturising Cellcosmet HydraFresh Complex and marine-origin Postbiotics Complex, according to the company.
Jérémie Soeur, Cellcosmet’s chief science officer, explained, “The skin on the body is thinner and produces less sebum than the skin on the face, as a result it is naturally less well protected against external aggressions. It is therefore necessary to recreate that layer of protection by using a well-formulated body product. This new range provides that.”
