Skincare company HydroPeptide is set to introduce eco-friendly packaging across all of its products throughout 2024.
The company will ensure that all tubes will be made of at least 60% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials, hard plastics will be at least 50% PCR and all unit cartons will be switched into forest stewardship council (FSC) certified recyclable paper. Recyclable glass has been incorporated for its droppers, moisturiser jars and serum pumps.
HydroPeptide will also aim to remove 70% of all single-use sampling by Q1 2025 and provide refills on top-selling products by Q1 2026.
Courtney Johnston, HydroPeptides director of product, commented, “Our dedication to a sustainable future ignited a comprehensive packaging overhaul. We have introduced recyclable glass, PCR plastic, and FSC-certified uncoated paper for ethical sourcing and full recyclability. Beyond material switches, we’ve enhanced packaging aesthetics with updated colour palettes and enriched product content, empowering consumers with educational shopping experiences.”
