On November 28, pharmaceutical company IBSA Derma held its 2nd Virtual Congress with a spotlight on Profhilo.
The congress was held on a digital platform, where attendees were able to create an ‘avatar’ to visit virtual booths.
There was also a live symposium, which included talks from Professor Chiara Schiraldi, who discussed the discovery and development of Profhilo, Mr Dalvi Humzah, who explained the spreadability, anatomy and techniques of the product; and Dr Antonello Tateo, who discussed the rise in male treatments.
Iveta Vinkler, director at HA-Derma, the exclusive distributor of the IBSA portfolio in the UK and Ireland, said, “It was a pleasure to attend the 2nd edition of the IBSA Derma Virtual Congress with our practitioners. We are very happy with the success of IBSA Derma’s range of products, namely Profhilo achieved in the UK and Ireland. In addition to sharing insights from the global Profhilo KOLs, the congress illustrated how Profhilo has acquired brand recognition together with on-going and growing demand from patients internationally.”
Charlotte Smeenge, senior event management officer, commented, “Keeping the attention of practitioners is a very challenging task in these particular times, but IBSA succeeded again with 3272 registrations from 84 different countries at the second edition of the IBSA Derma Virtual Congress. This unique scientific event, in an interactive environment, gave the participants a real conference experience by allowing them to create their own avatar in order to discover the content at the booths, participate in live symposia and to interact with IBSA representatives and colleagues from all over the world.”
