On June 29-July 1, the Integrative and Personalised Medicine (IPM) Congress 2023 took place, offering conventional, functional, lifestyle and holistic solutions for businesses and clinics across the UK.
The event welcomed 1,837 attendees from 43 counties over the three days, with whole-person, patient-centred health being the focus of the congress.
The first day looked into whole-person health with discussions on using herbal medicine with an integrative and functional approach, managing menopause in women with a cancer diagnosis, perimenopause and the secret to wellness.
Workshops also took place across the event with more intimate sessions on DNA testing, evolution of integrative medical education and prescribing lifestyle medicine.
Day two and three had focuses on integrative mental health and food on prescription. Talks and workshops investigated the potential link between depression and inflammation, managing chronic pain with lifestyle changes, supporting immune function with good nutrition and bioidentical hormone replacement therapy.
The IPM Congress will be returning on June 6-8, 2024.
