Lynton announces commitment to protect environment

Written by...

Laser and IPL manufacturer Lynton is planning to offset its carbon footprint and wants to devise a scheme to monitor, reduce and offset travel, energy usage and more.

The company will be investigating how they can reduce their carbon footprint as much as possible and offset the remainder through verified carbon reduction projects around the world. According to Lynton, these projects not only reduce the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, but also help tackle poverty and improve local wildlife habitats.

Martin Cooper, member of the conservation division at Lynton, commented, “Through our aesthetic, surgical and conservation lasers, Lynton strives to improve the health and wellbeing of our customers and protect our cultural heritage for future generations. The government has committed to the UK achieving carbon net zero status by 2050 – businesses, both large and small, will have a vital role to play. We are determined to play our part.”
