The Oculofacial Aesthetic Academy (OFAA) is hosting a facial ultrasound course in March.
The course named ‘Practical Course in Facial Ultrasound for Aesthetic Injectables’ will discuss the basics of facial ultrasound, how to use it to vascular map the facial anatomy and reduce the likelihood of vascular complications through mapping. The course will also introduce how to inject filler and dissolve filler using hyaluronidase under ultrasound guidance.
Speakers include aesthetic practitioner Dr Yusra Al-Mukhtar, Dr Steve Harris, professor of the Division of Anatomy and Developmental Biology at Yonsei University College of Dentistry Professor Hee Jin Kim, and consultant aesthetic oculoplastic surgeon Mrs Sabrina Shah-Desai.
The course will take place on March 5 at Perfect Eyes, Harley Street at 8.30am-6pm GMT.
