ALL SPEAKERS, DELEGATES AND EXHIBITORS ARE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING CONTACTED DIRECTLY.
In light of the international outbreak and spread of COVID-19, the 2019 Coronavirus, Easyfairs continues to closely follow and monitor the evolution of the situation, specifically taking into account all advice and recommendations from the World Health Organisation as well as all from local health organisations and governments.
Given the unforeseeable, unavoidable, unprecedented and global scope of the Coronavirus, and the potential for amplification and spread of infectious diseases during events and possible serious resulting public health consequences, the organisation of such events will be affected.
The main priority of Easyfairs in its continuous and careful assessment of the situation is the well-being, health and safety of its employees, visitors and exhibitors, as well as all stakeholders involved in its activities.
In light of the recent announcement by the World Health Organisation declaring COVID-19 a global pandemic, and the expectation that the UK Government will step up its response to delaying the spread of the virus, we have been in constant communication with our exhibitors and key stakeholders regarding the viability of running ACE on 13 & 14 March.
The rapid evolution of the situation this week has led to the decision this morning to postpone ACE to future dates. We are working hard to find an alternative solution for the event to run on future dates, in order to minimise and manage properly the impact of this decision for all attendees.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly; it has been taken with the health & safety of our staff and our community, as well as to support our valued customers, exhibitors and sponsors and to maintain an event that best serves the industry.
Alison Willis, Director of ACE, states: “We would like to reassure our community that your well-being and business remain our top concern in any decisions that we take regarding the event, and we will do our utmost to ensure the success of the event on its rescheduled dates, and will keep you regularly informed about the decision.”
We would like to thank you for your understanding and the many messages of support during this difficult period.
