Training provider Skin Philosophy Training is offering three-month internships to high-achieving former students who have delivered exceptional treatments and patient care.
Newly qualified beauty therapists and aestheticians can often find it difficult to secure their first job in the industry and when they do, they often find that they have been thrown ‘into the deep end’ with minimal on-going support. This is far from ideal for the therapist and certainly does not meet customer expectations.
According to Skin Philosophy Training, the internship aims to ensure that newly qualified beauty therapists and aestheticians are provided with valuable experience alongside their qualifications.
In the internship, trainees will be provided with daily, structured, assistance from in-house experienced therapists and directors, Skin Philosophy Training explained.
Founder of Skin Philosophy Training, Annalouise Kenny, said, “We have found that students needed structured, hands-on experience in addition to their therapy qualifications if they are to secure work at leading clinics. Our internships ensure that former student are not just technically competent but are truly confident in their treatment choices. This is a much-needed new approach for the industry – one which we believe will raise standards further.”
