Aesthetic product supplier 4T Medical has been certified as a Carbon Neutral Plus organisation for the third consecutive year.

Certification follows a thorough analysis of the company’s carbon footprint by independent body, Carbon Footprint Ltd, explains 4T Medical.

Through the purchase of carbon offsets, the company will offset 153 tonnes of CO2 produced by the company’s dealings, as well as an additional 15 tonnes. The contribution this year will help fund the REDD project aiming to reduce deforestation in the Amazonian rainforest, as well as planting trees in the UK and Kenya, adds 4T Medical.

The company has also become a sponsor of the Freedom Flight Prize which aims to encourage and accelerate the development of zero carbon emission aviation.

Julien Tordjmann,
managing director at 4T Medical, commented, “As a company, we are dedicated to
protecting the planet for future generations. We took the decision three years
ago that we needed to lead by example for taking real, concrete steps to reduce
our impact on the environment. We hope others in our industry will follow
suit.”
