AlumierMD reformulates peel treatment

Skincare company AlumierMD has unveiled the redeveloped peel treatment IntelliRET Boost, formerly known as Vitamin A Boost.

According to AlumierMD, the revised formulation responds to increasing clinical demand for retinoid treatments that support visible results while maintaining skin barrier integrity and tolerability. The company states that the treatment combines microencapsulated retinol, a bio-inspired botanical booster and 20% lactic acid, with a focus on controlled delivery and alignment with European retinol regulations rather than increased active strength.

AlumierMD reports that the reformulation builds on its IntelliRET range and follows the launch of a home care IntelliRET product in January 2026, designed to support epidermal renewal and skin preparation ahead of in-clinic treatments. The company adds that physician-led evaluation indicated improvements in skin texture, fine lines and overall skin quality, with minimal irritation reported in patients with sensitivity or reduced tolerance to traditional retinoid protocols.

Gemma Rabbatts, head of clinical content and development at AlumierMD, commented, “This sophisticated treatment exfoliates the skin, boosts cell turnover and promotes a smoother, more even‑toned complexion. It reduces the appearance of visible signs of ageing, brightens dull skin and maintains comfort even for sensitive skin thanks to its innovative, bio‑inspired botanical booster. Lunchtime peels are now back!”
