Aesthetic manufacturer Croma-Pharma partnered with the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) at their regional meeting.
On February 14, the BACN regional meeting took place at the Mercure Maidstone. Aesthetic practitioner Dr Daniel Sister shared his knowledge on platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and the numerous treatment applications including hair loss and skin rejuvenation in his talk ‘Effective PRP for Natural and Sustainable Results with Croma-Pharma’.
The session covered what is PRP, the uses of PRP, patient type and treatment options, as well as how to use and protocols information on the Arthrex centrifuge and double syringe benefits.
The session was CPD accredited, and delegates received 1.5 CPD points upon completion.
Dr Sister said, “PRP is my first choice of treatment protocols as it is a 100% natural product, and no one is allergic or intolerant to their own blood. With a track record since 1953, a Nobel prize in 1986 and excellent safety in numbers, the results of PRP treatments are enhanced by the latest generation of PRP kit technology from companies such as Croma.”
