Aesthetic practitioner Dr Vanita Rattan has launched a mineral SPF 50 lipstick aimed at addressing lip pigmentation concerns in skin of colour.
Dr Rattan shares that LipZinc SPF50 comes in five shades and features a dual-ended design with lip colour and mineral SPF 50 protection. She adds that some of the key ingredients include kojic dipalmitate, ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, bakuchiol and tripeptide-1.
Dr Rattan commented, “One of the main reasons it hasn’t been made before is that mineral SPF 50 often leaves a white cast when applied directly to the lips. We solved this by creating a dual-ended product, first the colour on the lips, then the SPF 50 on top.”
