Skincare company IMAGE Skincare has released new collection BIOME+ geared towards microbiome-friendly skin treatment.
According to the company, the collection is designed to be kind to the skin and microbiome, with microbiome-friendly squalene and adaptogenic plant extracts. It contains three products: BIOME+ cleansing comfort balm, BIOME+ dew bright serum and BIOME+ smoothing cloud crēme. The company states that the products combine fermented squalane derived from sugarcane, ashwagandha and tiger grass extract, alongside niacinamide and hyaluronic acid to strengthen the skin barrier.
The collection also aims to protect the planet, as it is packaged in a carbon neutral facility, with the packaging being made of 85% bio-resin derived from sugarcane and the collection is PETA-certified and vegan. The company is also donating 1% of annual sales to environmental causes with organisation 1% For The Planet.
