Medical waste disposal and infection control solution provider Initial Medical has released a new rigid cardboard waste container.
The company explains the product aims to promote sustainability in clinics. The cardboard waste containers are designed to replace traditional plastic clinical waste bins, thus reducing the amount of plastic waste clinics produce. According to the company, the high-density polyethylene liner means the containers are suitable for dry and infectious waste.
Category manager at Initial Medical Rebecca Waters said, “Here at Initial Medical, we take pride in supplying professionals with quality, sustainable solutions. Disposing of waste effectively has always been an integral part of protecting patients and staff from harm. The new Rigid Cardboard Waste Containers from Initial Medical are practical, cost-effective and environmentally friendly, constructed from recycled cardboard.”
