Mesoceutical brand Institute BCN has launched BCN Prebiotics to help restore the skin’s microbiome.
According to the company, the prebiotics act as superfoods by promoting the growth of healthy and balanced microbiome whilst aiming to improve the overall condition of the skin, reducing the signs of ageing and protecting the skin from pollution and environmental agents.
The BCN Prebiotics range is ideal for all skin types, especially those who have undergone medical-aesthetic treatments such as radiofrequency, peels, microneedling and mesotherapy, explains the company. The products contain non-prebiotic ingredients that are moisturising, antioxidant and antiageing, such as hyaluronic acid, sugars and natural moisturising factor aloe vera.
The range includes a
BCN Balance serum which aims to reinforce the skin’s self-defence system and
restore its natural moisturising factor; BCN Shield cream to provide protection
against external agents; BCN Intense Repair concentrate which can be used as a
night cream or a mask for an intensive repairing treatment and the BCN Scrub
exfoliator which is used as a face and body scrub for deeper exfoliation.
