The Lumenis Cares Foundation and aesthetic practitioner Dr Tapan Patel have presented a cheque for £28,000 to the Children’s Burns Trust following fundraising efforts.
The funds were raised during the Lumenis Cares Summer Dinner in July 2022, with Dr Patel matching the money raised to reach the final total. The funds will assist the Trust in its work rehabilitating burned and scalded children, as well as in its awareness campaigns about burns risks.
