The British Skin Foundation and skin tracking app Miiskin have announced the continuation of their three-year partnership into 2021.
With the support of the British Skin Foundation, Miiskin has now been recommended to patients by more than 100 hospitals in the UK.
Phil Brady, head of partnerships at the British Skin Foundation said, “We have chosen to continue to work with Miiskin because their app encourages regular self-examination of the skin and moles, which is essential for skin health, as specified by leading experts.”
Jon Friis, founder of Miiskin, commented, “Skin cancer is the most common type of cancer, and yet it’s treatable if detected early. It’s our mission to make skin monitoring easy and accessible for everyone, increasing the likelihood of early detection. Working with experts at the British Skin Foundation is hugely important to us and we are delighted to have such a fruitful and lasting relationship.”
