Aesthetics Media’s Clinical Advisory Board member and consultant plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon, Mr Dalvi Humzah, has been elected as one of two ‘private consultant or specialist clinical practice’ representatives for the British Medical Association’s (BMA) Private Practice Committee.
The Private Practice Committee committee engages with key stakeholders in private healthcare to represent the views of the medical profession. This includes private medical insurers, private hospitals providers, royal colleges and specialty associations.
On his new role, Mr Humzah commented, “Thank you to all those who voted in the recent BMA elections. It is with great pleasure that I have been successfully elected as a ‘private consultant or specialist clinical practice representative’ on the Private Practice Committee 2020-21. I look forward to representing the members when the committee meets in October.”
