Aesthetic practitioner Dr Sophie Shotter invited consumer and trade journalists to the Marylebone Hotel on June 25 to share her latest non-surgical lifting techniques with the industry and introduce her brand-new protocols.
She outlined the use of thread lifting, dermal fillers and botulinum toxin for a full-face lift, sharing case studies throughout. Dr Shotter then introduced two new protocols: Shape & Sculpt and Glow.
The Shape & Sculpt is designed to treat submental fullness and consists of a combination of the CoolMini handpiece (part of Allergan’s CoolSculpting device) and dermal filler Volux.
There are three variations of the Glow protocol, each of which is designed to address common concerns such as lines, wrinkles and sagging. However, the overall aim is to plump and hydrate the skin, shared Dr Shotter. The Ultimate Glow + Hydrate uses a combination of hyaluronic acid injectables Profhilo and Volite, as well as an intravenous drip containing vitamin B, C and Selenium. The Glow + Sculpt uses Profhilo, Volite and dermal filler and the Glow + Smooth features Profhilo, Viscoderm Hydrobooster and Volite.
Dr Shotter said of the event, “I wanted to host this event because sagging is something that is so negative in the face and if we can use combination techniques and open people’s eyes to the options that are available, we can achieve some great results. I’m really pleased with how the event has gone, we had a really great turnout and a very engaged audience!”
