Clinical distributor AestheticSource has added the new Revision Skincare C+ Brightening Eye Complex to its portfolio.
The under-eye treatment aims to alleviate stagnant blood flow to reduce dark circles, boost hydration, reduce capillary leakage to decrease fluid accumulation. The company says this mitigates under-eye puffiness and targets melanin production, accumulation and deposition for less noticeable dark circles and a brighter-looking complexion.
The product also contains MelaC+ technology with 10% THD ascorbate (vitamin C) which targets the underlying causes like increased fluid build-up, adds AestheticSource.
According to one trial on a 52-year-old, results were seen as early as four weeks and after 12 weeks, there was a highly statistically significant reduction in dark circles and under-eye puffiness. Another trial on a 55-year-old showed that after eight weeks, under-eye blood flow was enhanced by 49%, indicating reduced dark circles. Lorna Bowes, CEO at AestheticSource, said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of the C+ Brightening Eye Complex with its innovative MelaC+ technology. Clinically proven results, along with its suitability to be used post-healing for procedures including fillers, laser treatment, lower blepharoplasty and facial fat transfers, make it an exciting addition to the Revision Skincare line-up.”
