Skincare company ALASTIN from pharmaceutical company Galderma has launched C‑Radical Defense Antioxidant Serum.

According to the company, the formulation uses an encapsulated form of sodium ascorbate within a proprietary liposomal delivery system, rather than traditional L‑ascorbic acid. Laboratory work cited by ALASTIN suggests this approach may help neutralise free radicals while conserving elastin, with the aim of maintaining skin resilience over time.

The serum also incorporates a complex of 14 antioxidants, including lactoferrin, ergothioneine, green tea extract, ectoin and coenzyme Q10, to provide broad‑spectrum protection against UV, pollution and other environmental stressors, shares the company.

Rene Wipperich, Galderma UK&I general manager, said, “We are thrilled to announce the UK launch of the ALASTIN C-Radical Defense Antioxidant Serum, a skincare innovation that reflects both science and sensibility. This launch marks the next step in delivering visible results with trusted ingredients, responding directly to evolving consumer expectations while reinforcing our commitment to quality, efficacy, and overall long-term skin health.”
