The British College of Aesthetic Medicine (BCAM) has announced the appointment of three new aesthetic practitioners as trustees to its board.

Dr Haidar Hassan expressed his commitment to advancing clinical and evidence-based research in aesthetic and regenerative medicine, with a focus on fostering academic collaborations and improving regulatory standards.

Dr Ahmed El Houssieny emphasised his dedication to raising safety standards and ethical decision-making in the specialty, with patient care at the heart of his approach.

Finally, Dr Deepa Panchalingam highlighted her enthusiasm for helping shape the future of the profession and raising the bar for patient care and excellence in medical aesthetics.

BCAM president and aesthetic practitioner Dr Catherine Fairris shared, “I am very pleased to welcome our three new trustees who I believe will add significantly to the current board. They bring with them a wealth of experience and skill sets that we believe will help propel BCAM forward and will support it in its endeavours to continue to be a leading voice in aesthetics, representing doctors and dentists. These appointments aim to strengthen BCAM’s leadership and further its mission to advance safe and ethical aesthetic practices.”
