Medical aesthetics event Interface Expo Conference was held on November 22 at Queen Elizabeth II Centre.
Founded in 2022 by oral and maxillofacial surgery registrar Mr James Olding, the event aimed to combine clinical education, research and live injection demonstrations. With four symposiums throughout the day, the speaker lineup included JCCP Chair Professor David Sines, along with aesthetic practitioners Dr Sophie Shotter, Dr Priya Verma, Dr Ahmed El Houssieny and Dr Raul Cetto.
Across the day, sessions covered an update on regulatory structure within the field, needle and cannula innovations and strategies to boost clinic growth. The final session, titled ‘The Faculty Debate: Clinical Enterprise,’ concluded with a panel discussion involving aesthetic practitioners Dr Jordan Faulkner, Dr Yousrah Ahmed and Dr Raquel Amado, nurse prescriber Julie Scott and senior plastic surgery registrar Mr Yasser Al-Omran.
Reflecting on the event with Aesthetics, Mr Olding commented, “Delivering live demonstrations on the art and science of injecting to more than 300 engaged attendees, hosting open-stage discussions with leading practitioners and offering networking sessions with specialty giants, Interface Expo continues to redefine how the aesthetics field connects in an innovative and collaborative way. Inspiring, educating and uniting, our fourth year of Interface Expo stands as proof that when people come together with purpose and ideas, they can shape the direction of an entire field.”
