Aesthetic practitioner Dr Bhavjit Kaur has established the Medical and Surgical Aesthetics Second Opinion Service (MSASOS) in collaboration with Professor Alwyn D’Souza.
The service is designed to give patients clear, unbiased and medically sound advice about aesthetic treatments via virtual and in-clinic consultations. Dr Kaur explains that MSASOS aims to address growing concerns around misinformation, complications and inconsistent standards within aesthetics.
According to the company, this service is specifically recommended for patients who are hesitant about a proposed treatment, individuals with melanin-rich skin, menopausal women experiencing skin changes, patients who have had complications or poor results and medical tourists looking for safe pre-travel advice. Following the consultation, patients can share the second opinion with their practitioners ahead of treatment.
Dr Kaur commented, “Patients often feel unsure, pressured or unsupported when navigating the aesthetics landscape. This service exists to give patients anywhere in the UK or abroad access to independent clinical clarity, helping them make safe, informed choices without sales influence or conflict of interest.”
