Aesthetic clinic chain Cavendish Clinics has confirmed that all its clinics operating within British department store chain John Lewis have ceased trading with immediate effect.
In a statement online, the clinic has explained that it is unable to honour any outstanding appointments or pre-paid treatment packages, and has directed all enquiries and requests for refunds in respect of pre-paid treatments to payment card providers. Additionally, the company notes that its Fitzrovia clinic is a separate legal entity and will be unaffected by this change.
A spokesperson for John Lewis commented, “Unfortunately, the Cavendish Clinics operating as concessions in our stores have ceased trading. As Cavendish Clinic is not owned by John Lewis, we are now working urgently to understand what this means for their patients and colleagues and provide appropriate support.”
