The British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses (BAMAN) is collaborating with Cotofana Anatomy to host The Anatomy and Injection Experience on November 21-22.
Taking place at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, BAMAN shares that the event is open to all registered nurses and medical professionals working within medical aesthetics. Delegates will be able to choose from attending day one, The Anatomy and Injection Experience Auditorium Programme, or upgrading to the full two-day experience, which includes The Advanced Cadaver Masterclass.
According to BAMAN, day one will feature a large-scale live anatomy auditorium programme, combining live-streamed cadaveric dissection with simultaneous injection demonstrations performed in real time. Topics covered will include facial anatomy, vascular structures, injection safety and anatomical danger zones.
Day two offers an advanced, hands-on cadaveric learning experience led by Professor Sebastian Cotofana and an expert faculty team. BAMAN shares that this will be delivered in small teaching groups as the masterclass is designed to provide a highly interactive educational environment, with a delegate-to-faculty ratio of 5:1.
BAMAN shares that all delegates attending the programme will receive one month of complimentary access to Professor Cotofana's online educational platform, and those enrolled on the full two-day programme will also have the opportunity to attend an exclusive faculty dinner.
Gareth Lewis, chief executive officer of BAMAN, commented, “Professor Cotofana has become one of the most respected anatomy educators in the world, and his influence on how practitioners understand anatomy, patient safety and treatment outcomes has been enormous. To be able to partner with him and host this programme at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh is a fantastic opportunity for BAMAN and for the wider medical aesthetics community.”
