UK charity British Skin Foundation (BSF) and ITN Business have collaborated to highlight key work in the fight against cancer this World Cancer Day.
The charity explains that they are launching a news-style programme on February 4 in recognition of World Cancer Day, presented by Simon Thomas.
The programme, Shaping the Future of Cancer Care, features a report about BSF funded research from Newcastle University. The AMBLor test hopes to offer reassurance for patient diagnosed with an early-stage melanoma by identifying those who are at low risk of the disease reoccurring or spreading, BSF notes.
Matthew Patey, chief executive officer at BSF, said, “The BSF is proud to showcase the vital work from the University of Newcastle team, alongside other inspirational organisations featured in the programme.”
