HA-Derma, the exclusive distributor and training provider for IBSA Derma in the UK and Ireland, invited a select group of practitioners for a two-day masterclass in Milan, Italy.
Practitioners included aesthetic practitioners Dr Preema Vig and Dr Hilary Allan as well as independent nurse prescriber Anna Baker. They were accompanied by Lisa Fleckney, Midlands account manager.
The event commenced with a welcome from international sales and marketing specialist at IBSA Derma Joanne Passaretti. Dr Editta Buttura da Prato shared her wealth of insights into Aliaxin whilst Dr Domenico Romano provided perspectives on Profhilo. He discussed the competitive landscape but also delved into specific applications on the forehead and tear troughs.
Independent nurse prescriber Julie Scott further explored Profhilo’s relevance in the context of menopausal skin.
The day included live injection sessions by Dr Romano and Dr Buttura da Prato, offering practitioners an opportunity to observe and learn through practical demonstrations. The second day featured an informative tour of the Lodi Production Plant, providing an in-depth look at the manufacturing process. The day culminated in an exploration of IBSA Derma’s product pipeline, presented by international medical affairs manager at IBSA Derma, Franco Grimolizzi.
