UK training provider Harley Academy has launched its Aesthetics Referral Centre.
According to Harley Academy, the service aims to provide a safety network for complications following aesthetic treatments. The platform connects practitioners to a multidisciplinary clinical team, supporting both them and the patient if something goes wrong, shares the company.
The training provider explains that, to access support through the service, practitioners must submit a short referral form, including treatment details and photographs, via the member portal. Additionally, patients receive an immediate booking link, avoiding triage queues and unnecessary delays, while the referring practitioner remains informed throughout.
Harley Academy adds that patients are assessed and treated by named Harley Academy faculty specialists at the Copthall Avenue complications clinic, and following discharge, they return to their original practitioner with a comprehensive clinical summary. The subscription includes referral rights, a clinical governance pack and access to an extensive protocol library, shares the company.
Dr Tristan Mehta, founder and chief executive officer of Harley Academy, commented, “No one enters this specialty expecting to cause a complication, but every aesthetic practitioner faces one at some point, whatever their skill or experience level. That’s not something to feel ashamed of, and it’s never something you should face alone. We built the Aesthetics Referral Centre so there’s always somewhere to turn. A full multidisciplinary team supports both patient and practitioner, with no judgement, from referral through to discharge. Keeping it affordable was deliberate, because a safety net only works if everyone can reach it. This was the logical next step for Harley Academy as part of our mission to raise standards through evidence-based aesthetic education and accessible support.”
