Obagi unveils new skincare device

Written by...

Skincare brand Obagi has launched its first complementary skincare device Skintrinsiq in the UK and Ireland.

According to the company, the device aims to gently lift the upper layers of the skin, open pores and allow impurities to be extracted.

The treatment begins with extraction and removes built-up debris and impurities from the skins surface. The second step is infusion, where Obagi medical products are applied to the skin and the vacuum infuses the product into the skin. Skincare protocols include Brightening, Clarifying, Firming and Antioxidant. LED benefits can also be integrated into the treatment. The final step is locking the Obagi products into the skin, explains the company.

Jaime Castle, Obagi president and CEO, said, “The unique design of the Skintrinsiq device, combined with its exclusive availability in medically trained clinics allows healthcare practitioners to provide an efficacious treatment for the skin that capitalises on the science and heritage of Obagi products.”

The
device is available from Healthxchange in the UK now and in Ireland from
November 4.
