Global skincare company Medik8 has added the r-Retinoate Day & Night Eye Serum to its product offering.
The launch comes after the release of Medik8’s other retinol products earlier this year.
The serum features the company’s patented formula, retinyl retinoate (a hybrid of traditional retinol and clinical strength retinoic acid) as well as caffeine, hyaluronic acid and hesperidin. It is designed to fade lines and brighten the eye area, Medik8 explains.
The company states that the R-retinoate Day & Night Eye Serum can be applied in the morning as well as in the evening for accelerated use. It should be applied after cleansing, initially for twice a week for the first fortnight, then every other night for the following two weeks before then using every night. Sunscreen should also be worn at all times when using this product, according to Medik8.
