The Aesthetics Journal joined an exclusive press trip to aesthetic manufacturer Teoxane’s headquarters on 20–21 April in Geneva, Switzerland. The two-day programme centred around the company’s new injection technique, babyGLOW by Teoxane, and took place at Teoxane Laboratories, parent company of Teoxane UK.

Delegates were welcomed with an evening dinner on day one at the InterContinental Hotels, offering the chance to preview the agenda and meet fellow press from France, Germany, Italy and the UK.

According to the company, the new injection technique uses four anatomical landmark lines and eight selected facial injection points. Teoxane shares it is designed to optimise production diffusion and maximise surface light reflection.

Day two opened with an introduction from CEO and founder Valérie Taupin, who shared the story of Teoxane’s origins and its focus on developing hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers and skincare. This was followed by a guided tour of the laboratories, during which delegates were able to learn about the science underpinning the brand’s portfolio, with specific emphasis on its HA skin booster, Teosyal PureSense Redensity 1. Teoxane representatives explained that the non-crosslinked HA acts as a humectant, binding large amounts of water.

According to the company, babyGLOW by Teoxane involves placing the product in the hypodermis, in contrast to previous, more superficial approaches. Teoxane added that the fluid consistency is intended to diffuse through the tissue, drawing moisture into the skin to support a rejuvenating effect rather than adding bulk. After lunch, delegates joined a practical masterclass on babyGLOW by Teoxane, led by aesthetic practitioner Dr Silvia Caboni.

She outlined how the eight-point injection entry approach is designed to reduce the appearance of micropapules, with the intention of limiting downtime for patients. Dr Caboni also highlighted the importance of a two-minute massage following treatment. The technique was then demonstrated live by Dr Meral Saglam, allowing attendees to see the protocol in real time.

The trip concluded with the group taking part in a multi-sensory session at Perfum Ateleir, where they were invited to create a bespoke fragrance while sampling collagen drinks.

Charley Clewely, senior brand manager at Teoxane UK, shared with Aesthetics, “Patient expectations are constantly evolving, and it’s essential that practitioners and brands alike evolve with them. Advancing techniques is not just about innovation for innovation’s sake, but about delivering more refined, natural, and consistent results that align with patient demands. At Teoxane, this mindset underpins everything we do, and babyGLOW by Teoxane is a clear example of how technique evolution can elevate treatment outcomes. It reflects a commitment to improving skin quality in a way that aligns with both practitioner expertise and patient demand for subtle, radiant and immediate results with little-to-no downtime.”
