Aesthetic device company Candela invited practitioners to The Art of Radiance education event on June 20 at Soho House Manchester.

The event opened with a welcome from Victoria Worship, assistant vice president for the UK, Ireland and Iberia, who outlined the company’s heritage and portfolio developments.

Independent nurse prescriber and dermatology specialist Yobany Valencia introduced the Matrix radiofrequency (RF) platform, discussing its role in total skin renewal through RF microneedling, sub-ablative resurfacing and non-invasive wrinkle treatment. This was followed by a presentation from aesthetic practitioner Dr Saleena Zimri on the benefits of combining facial treatment Glacē Microdermabrasion with Hydro-Infusion in a single treatment.

After lunch, delegates attended a session on the PicoWay advanced picosecond laser system led by Valencia, before aesthetic practitioner Dr Kamran Amjed explored consultation strategies and the role of technology investment in supporting clinic growth. The event concluded with a panel discussion, networking and refreshments.

Dianne Burkhill, senior marketing manager UK&I at Candela, commented, “Candela have a heritage rich in medical aesthetics, and we wanted to ensure we reflected this together with the quality, innovation and diversity of our device portfolio technology through our UK&I activities. We are delighted to bring our Art of Radiance event to Manchester for the ease and convenience of practitioners based outside London.”
